AVAILABLE EVERY SUNDAY DURING worship SERVICES, WE PROVIDE A SAFE, RESPONSIVE AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOUR CHILD WILL FEEL FREE TO BE THEMSELVES!

Nursery
In our nursery, children explore foundational Bible truths through singing, interactive play, Bible stories, and age-appropriate videos. Our trained, Ministry Safe-certified team provides a safe, nurturing space where every child feels loved and supported.
On behalf of Aiea United Methodist Church and our amazing Sunday School leaders, we warmly welcome you and your children to the Children’s Ministry Sunday School program. Our mission is to equip children with sound Biblical truth, guiding them to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. We strive to help them grow in their understanding of God’s Word and empower them to share the love of Christ with others.

Kid's Church
We love welcoming kids into a fun, engaging, and safe environment where they can grow in their faith! Our Kid's Church is open to children ages 4 through 6th grade, offering interactive Bible lessons, crafts, activities, and plenty of playtime. Older kids (6th grade and up) are encouraged to assist our teachers and help lead younger children.

Check-in begins at 9:45 a.m. at the church’s front entrance. Parents provide their child's name and receive two printed tags—one for the child and one for the parent—to ensure a secure drop-off and pick-up process. Kid's Church takes place in the fellowship hall at 10:00am.

We use Bible Story Basics from Cokesbury, taking kids on an exciting journey through the Bible in chronological order. Lessons come to life with visual aids, videos, hands-on activities, and crafts to help kids engage with Scripture in a meaningful way.We can’t wait to see your child this Sunday!
Events
Throughout the year, AUMC youth + their families are provided with an assortment of family-friendly activities and events!

The big hit of the year is our summer Vacation Bible School. VBS is a fun and energetic week/weekend program for children K-5th grade to learn about God’s story. This summer program is designed to encourage children to dig deeper in their walk with Jesus Christ. Each day is packed with music, Bible stories, skits, games, crafts, dinner and more. VBS is not just for AUMC members or regular attenders; we open up VBS to all of Aiea and its surrounding communities, giving keiki a chance to make new friends and us to welcome new people into our ohana.

Additional youth events include our annual White Sunday celebration during worship, Easter + Christmas and our Halloween Hallelujah Night (video below!)
